I admit it. I HAVE NOT BEEN MYSELF LATELY, and here is why….
Yes, it's true. if you have clicked on this link from my facebook post, then you are probably just discovering the news. We have known about this wonderful surprise for a few weeks now, and if you hadn't guessed it from my lack of posting lately, I have been completely wiped out for the past 8 weeks. I am, thankfully, rounding the corner into the second trimester and the nausea is only coming and few moments a day, instead of the constant 24/7 that it was only last week.
Ben and I visited the doctor and I have to say, the technology out there now is AMAZING. We got to see our little person 'swimming' around, looked like he was doggy paddling with his arms and legs. To watch our future child wiggle and shake around in my belly was astounding. I think Ben and I both were just completely floored by the live video we were watching. The doctor captured a still of the video and you can see that baby has developed ears, feet buds (his legs are crossed) and his right hand is covering his face. You can also see a protruding bump from between his legs!!!! the doctor was hesitant to say for sure, but he was 90% confident (his words, not mine) that we have another duelley boy on the way.
I estimate that my due date is September 9, 2013. This puts me at twelve weeks along.
The idea of having 4 boys in my house has taken some getting used to, but Ben and I are thrilled at the news and very excited for the future. I mean, the odds of us having 1 wrestler is pretty good, right ?
We told the boys the other night about what is going on inside of mom's belly and Tyler was so excited. (Travis was more interested in the video game he was playing, but such is life…). Tyler has so many questions and suggestions, I can't wait for him to meet his new brother.
Tyler said "I will show him things to do, mom."
I said "like what?"
he said "like how to get dressed, go to school and play video games."
I said "i'm sure you will".
Tyler also was so excited saying that he can't wait to hold him and help get him bottles, but he would hold his nose when i had to change stinky diapers. At breakfast the following day, out of the blue, he said "I CAN'T WAIT TO TELL EVERYBODY THERE IS A BABY IN YOUR BELLY!" I'm thinking, who on earth does he have to tell ???? I just know both of the boys are going to be great brothers and we are going to be one big(ger) happy family. Tyler also believes that we will be naming his new brother "Optimus Prime Duelley".... so I guess I have 6 months to convince him otherwise - or maybe he will be doing the convincing?
